You will have an appointment scheduled once a month, every month until you no longer need our services.

Each appointment can take up to 1.5 hours. This includes:

1. Session with your Mentor

2. Shopping for clothing items

3. Receiving food and available housewares

Please note that we do not offer financial assistance of any kind.

We are not equipped to handle emergencies or walk‑ins; all services are provided by appointment only.

Because our ministry relies entirely on donations, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific items. Thank you for understanding, as we do our best to serve you with the resources we have.

If you know you cannot keep your appointment, please call ahead to cancel and reschedule.

Because we have a limited number of appointments available and every appointment is important to us and valuable to all our neighbors, if you are a no-show, you will experience an extended wait time before being able to schedule another appointment.

Please call 540-655-4060 and leave a clear, brief voice message with your name and phone number. Since we are not at the center every day, someone will get back to you on a day that we are open.

Our staff are not trained counselors, and we do not offer professional counseling. Our mentors rely on the Word of God to provide biblical instruction, encouragement, and a caring place to talk for those who come to the Agape Center.

It is important for you to know that Agape Center staff are not exempt from state or federal laws.

We are legally required to report any situation in which someone shares information involving:

1. Child abuse

2. Intent to cause physical harm to another person

3. Intent to cause physical harm to oneself

If you disclose any of this information at any time while at the Agape Center, we are obligated by law to report it to the appropriate authorities or ensure that you do so.

For your protection and ours, we require you to sign a form when you apply, acknowledging your understanding of our legal responsibility to report child abuse and any intent to harm yourself or another person.
