You will have an appointment scheduled once a month, every month until you no longer need our services. Each appointment can take up to 1.5 hours. This includes: 1. Session with your Mentor 2. Shopping for clothing items 3. Receiving food and available housewares

Please note that we do not offer any financial assistance. To ensure we can provide the best possible support to everyone we serve, Agape kindly asks that visits be scheduled in advance. This allows us to prepare and dedicate the appropriate time and resources for each individual. While we genuinely care about every situation, we are not set up to handle emergency cases or unexpected walk-in visits. If you are facing an urgent issue, we encourage you to contact emergency services, call 211, or visit the nearest emergency center for immediate assistance. Because our ministry relies entirely on donations, we cannot guarantee the availability of specific items. Thank you for understanding, as we do our best to serve you with the resources we have.

If you know ahead of time that you won’t be able to make your appointment, please give us a quick call so we can cancel and help you reschedule at a time that works better for you. Because our appointment slots are limited, every visit truly matters—for you and for all our neighbors who rely on these services. Please call 540-655-4060 and leave a clear, brief voice message with your name, phone number, and appointment day/time. Since we are not at the center every day, someone will get back to you on a day that we are open.

Our staff and mentors are not trained counselors, and we do not provide professional counseling services. Instead, our mentors rely on the Word of God to offer biblical instruction, encouragement, and a caring, supportive place to talk for everyone who comes to the Agape Center. It’s also important for you to know that Agape Center staff are not exempt from state or federal laws. We are legally required to report certain information when it is shared with us. By law, we must report any situation involving: 1. Child abuse 2. Intent to cause physical harm to another person 3. Intent to cause physical harm to oneself If any of this information is disclosed at any time while you are at the Agape Center, we are required to report it to the appropriate authorities or ensure that you do so. For your protection and ours, we ask you to sign a form when you apply, acknowledging that you understand our legal responsibility to report child abuse or any intent to harm yourself or someone else.
